About the Course
Psychology is the scientific study of mental processes and human behavior. This course is a year-long social studies elective that prepares students for the Advanced Placement test in psychology. Students who earn a passing score according to their institution may earn college credit for their Introduction to Psychology course. The course will be a combination of lectures, presentations, projects, and comprehensive exams that would be similar to a college level course. Classroom discussion and participation will be a required element of the course.
